Our Ammonium Bicarbonate provides a light and crisp texture, creating a fluffy composition to the final product. The unique feature about this product is that it does not leave an alkaline taste in the end product, unlike baking powder. White in colour, you might notice a slight ammonia odour while baking but that is no cause for alarm. Your baked product will not have any ammonia taste or odour. It is also a halal-certified product. It must be stored dry and kept in a well-sealed container as it absorbs moisture and clumps up easily.


Also known as baker's ammonia or salt of hartshorn, our Ammonium Bicarbonate is used as a raising agent for flat baked goods, such as cookies, crackers and steamed buns, commonly used for baking. It creates a fluffy composition, making the product airy and light. This product is available in sizes of 80g, 700g and 5kg.

How to use
This product should be mixed in to your product as instructed in your recipe and is commonly used in cookies and crackers. It should be dissolved well for an even texture.
