Our dark corn syrup is made in Singapore and is halal-certified. Dark corn syrup has a dark colour and produces a more robust and toasty flavour. In comparison, light corn syrup is milder and sweeter. They can be used interchangeably in almost any recipe aside from slight flavour and colour variances. We have both light and dark corn syrups available, and you can mix it with other juices or drinks to create your original soft drink. This product is available in packs of 510g or 5kg.

Dark corn syrup is darker and browner as it contains molasses. This also results in the richer flavour it has as compared to light corn syrup. It also extends the shelf life of food, and is great for recipes involving baked goods as it keeps the product moist. It is also not uncommon to find this added to recipes that require a smoothing agent such as ice cream, as it prevents sugar from crystallizing and can withstand high temperatures. Similar to other sweet additives, this product should be kept at room temperature. It should also be kept dry.

How to use

This product should be added as per your recipe instructions. It is often mixed in for a touch of sweetness and used as a topping for your waffle or pancake, as well as in recipes for candy, popcorn and sweet treats. Recommended ratio proportion: Mix 1kg of Syrup to 6kg of water or soda water.
