Description

Forest honey is from assorted flora and fauna in Rwanda’s pristine forests. The natural sweetness has caramel and fruity notes with aromatic, herbal flavours, suggesting the rich forests in which the bees forage. The deep amber coloured honey is treacly, but also refreshing, you feel it’s doing you "good".

Details

This honey pairs well with acidic fruit such as pineapple, mango, kiwi fruit, strawberry, and is a delectable topping for bread and pancakes. Almost reminiscent of an aged whiskey, the honey will be that secret ingredient to a flavourful sauce or marinate. It is natural with no artificial enhancements. The honey is filtered - not heat processed or UV light treated, ensuring a higher level of beneficial enzymes. The honey is EU certified.
