Our Redman Extra Fine Wholemeal Flour is made in Germany and is sometimes known as whole wheat flour. The flour ground to extra fine consistency and is great to use in baked goods, cakes, cookies and thickening sauces. With its extra fine properties, the flour has a very fine consistency and can absorb high amounts of water. The result is a very fine crumb and soft texture in your end product. It is also much higher in nutrients as compared to your regular plain flour. The product is halal-certified.

Our extra fine wholemeal flour is a very fine powder made from grinding the entire wheat grain kernal. It is also a common main ingredient in many baked goods and provides gluten, the key ingredient that enables doughs to hold its shape. High in nutritional value, this product is a good source of selenium and manganese. It is also low in saturated fat and sodium. It is good to note that the final product may have a slightly darker colour, due to the grinding process of the flour which results in more nutrients as a whole. It should be stored in a cool and dry area.

How to use

Our extra fine wholemeal flour should be mixed in evenly into your product as instructed. It is sometimes also mixed with all-purpose flour for better rising.

Suggested Recipes

This flour works well when baking delicious cinnamon buns and chocolate chip cookies. It is also used to make popular products such as wholemeal bread, salmon and broccoli quiche, honey pancakes and carrot cake cupcakes.


Alternatives include plain flour or graham flour. We also have this product in a less fine form - Redman wholemeal flour.
