KIDS' CLASS (5-9 Y.O + 1 adult) - Sugar cookies and royal icing decoration
Learn how to bake the sugar cookies, decorate with royal icing and sprinkles.
At RedMan Baking Studio's, our Chefs are constantly coming up with new and creative ways to delight our Baking Studio customers. All recipes are developed in house and come from the many years of experience that our In House Chefs have under their belts. You'll often find that our recipes are unparalleled in their uniqueness and incorporate flavours and techniques from many different cultures. Each class is conducted with passion and our Chefs take the time to make sure everyone learns and brings home a delicious creation!
- Learn to make the sugar cookie dough
- Learn to use royal icing to decorate the cookies
Duration: 2 hours
Take home portion: 6 pcs decorated sugar cookies
Minimum age: 5-9 years old
All classes will be conducted in English.
Equipment, tools, ingredients, apron will be provided.
Bring a pen for taking notes.
Participants will need to work in pairs (1 child + 1 parent)

Only paid and registered participants may join the class.
The class starts on time. If the class has already started for 20 mins or more, latecomers will not be admitted to the class. No refunds will be given.
General social etiquette and decorum during class are expected from each participant.
Are Bookings Refundable?
All confirmed bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Transfers to another class is not available for online classes.
No refunds or transfers will be given for unattended classes.

Chef Sonya Whatford
Coming from a Eurasian background, Sonya has always been exposed to different kinds of cooking and baking - e.g. as a child she used to watch her Grand-aunty make the most beautiful wedding cakes for friends and family. She learned early in life that baking can bring so much joy to not only to the baker but also to people enjoying the products of this labour of love.
Sonya's professional background includes working for Singapore Airlines and at two well-established international hotels in Singapore. She then went to further her studies in Sydney, Australia in early childhood study’s. On returning to Singapore she went on to qualify as a Wilton instructor and she also holds a diploma in PME cake decorating.
Completing her Wilton Instructor Certificate was a real joy for Sonya as it will allow her to pass on her enthusiasm for and knowledge of cake decorating to new students. This has included demonstration baking at top department stores in Singapore as well as normal training classes
Sonya also bakes for various charities as well as for friends and acquaintances - particularly enjoying creating elaborate birthday cakes etc with figures from cartoons, movies and mythology
