Okinawa Braised Pork belly Recipe


Ingredients


600g Frozen Pork Belly

4 cups Bonito Dashi Soup Stock

¾ cup Awamori

100g Okinawa Brown Sugar

½ cup Kochi Katsuo Flavoured Soy Sauce

5g Ginger

5g Japanese Leek



Method


1.      Simmer Pork Belly in plane water for about 50 minutes.

2.      Cut the meat into 3-5cm

cubes.

3.      Put all the ingredients

except Soy Sauce in the pot and boil.

4.      Simmer and add Soy Sauce,

set to lo heat till meat is tender.

5.      Serve with sliced ginger.
